I'm cynical of 'new bike hype' but it does look bloody loverly.
The only issue being you would have no excuse for not setting the fastest bike split!

Pose Running Method
Well, after 2 months of training with a knee niggle I've started my year with it turning into an injury. Patellar tendinitis to be precise. I'm pretty positive at the moment and with a bit of rest, stretching and strenghening my glutes, I should get back on track ready for the season start.
Being injured though, I think we all end up going through the same process.
Pose running was created by Russian run coach Nicholas Romanov. He has worked with many different runners and triathletes including Leanda Cave and Tim Don.
The benefits of pose running are a reduction in forces through the joints, less vertical movement and less breaking forces as the foot lands.
The principles are that you land on your mid foot using the supporting joints flexed at impact and using your hamstring to withdraw the foot away from the ground. This in essence uses gravity to propel you forward.
This is in contrast to standard running where the heel strikes first in front of the body creating a breaking affect and using the plantar flexors and extensors to push off with.
Clear as mud? Have a look at Gabrselassie on the link below. He is a natural pose runner.
Notice his feet don't touch down until they are under his body.
So, having read the benefits I found out it takes years of patient training to learn properly. Which is really not me!
Still at least I can talk a good run.

- Trailing the internet for anything which might get us back quicker.
